I once attended a poetry workshop organized by Meath County Library as part of the Eist poetry competition and did get a poem out of it and a book as well. (Ruth Padel - 52 Ways of Looking At A Poem). Nessa O' Mahony was in charge and there were a number of well known poets and writers there, the event being organized by Tom French. So as to creative writing, anything that will trigger inspiration, or elaborate on the means to tap into such is to be welcomed. The poet Alice Kinsella and The Linenhall Arts Centre loaded the above poetry workshop during the Covid crisis, so if you have a little time on your hands then why not get the pen and paper out.
