Orla Fay was editor of the 'Boyne Berries' literary magazine for many years and is now the editor of her own magazine 'Drawn to the Light' which is available both online and in hard copy. A winner and shortlisted in many competitions over the years, she invites all to the launch of her first collection in Antonia's Bookstore in Trim, County Meath on Sunday the 3rd of December at 2 pm where Michael Farry will do the honours. More information about the book is available on the Salmon Poetry website. Orla has been widely published and was the Poet Laureate (Poetry Town) Dunshaughlin in 2021. A native of Dunderry, County Meath she holds an MA in Digital Arts and Humanities from UCC.

The guest reader at the Knightsbridge Coffee Shop in Trim this Thursday night is Orla Fay and the occasion sees the launch of her chapbook "Drawn To The Light". Orla has been picking up prizes for her poetry and short stories for a number of years now and has been widely published both home and abroad. The start time for the event is 8pm and the admission fee of €5 euro includes both tea or coffee and of course light refreshments. She is the third member of The Boyne Writers' Group to produce a chapbook, the others being Michael Farry and Brendan Carey Kinane back in 2009.
