The Meath Writers' Circle ~ Calendar Launch 2024!
Just a word of thanks for everyone who turned out for what was the very successful launch of our 2024 calendar in Crocketts Bar of Bective. Also to thank the staff who accommodated us at short notice. It was an event tinged with sadness due to the passing away of our long time chairman Willie G. Hodgins who held the position since 2012. May he rest in peace.

For those who've contributed to the above, a get-together has been arranged for this Wednesday night coming (6th December) in Crocketts Bar of Bective at 7pm, with 'Finger Food' served at 8 pm. I would like to thank all who have assisted for what was in many ways a last minute decision or venture to get something out for the year. A number of copies will be issued to all involved and we'll play it from there! Anyone who'd like to drop in is more than welcome.
*The Thursday night meeting in Navan Library will not take place.
