A Poem For Christmas!

Shopping for...

Job Lots,
Dyed in the wool type
The Hill of Skryne
Fashionistas.
Tailoring to suit you
Every need, and
The rest.

Hanging,
Was too good for 'em
The suits
Fit for everything
But purpose
And worsted to get
The better
Of you.

Though the sweaters
Were the worst.
The drip, drip, drip
Of revelation
And the rack
Loosening the tongue
The boot in!

Alterations were
A speciality
Flog the lot
Of 'em!

A Poem for Christmas

A Poem for Christmas.

I can't remember if I posted this one before, but something to keep you in the mood for the festive season in case you find yourself in the company of poets or writers on a really cold night and you're feeling just a little bit hungry. A happy Christmas!

Just Deserts.

A dash of venom
A drop of spice
Nine parts of those
Distilled from ice.

Washed down
With old preserves
From jars
Of hot minute
Particulars.

Bad type
A verse or two
Impose
Thin waffles
Pixelate your
Prose.
Then chant!

A bottle of
Mulled wine
Decant.

Then let it all
Slip down your
Throat.
And feast on
Thespians and
Poets!
