Dolly Parton ~ Coat of Many Colours/ First Performance.
Listening to Arena on RTE last night I heard the news of the death of perhaps the greatest female country singer of them all and easily more than that as she crossed every musical boundary. The flying of flags at half mast across the US gives some indication of her importance with regard to a lot more than her music. There will be and already are many fine tributes paid to her success in the film and music industry and that's not forgetting her charitable work and I suppose everyone has their own favourite song or quote but the above is or was her own special favourite.
