The Waterford Poetry Prize 2022!
The deadline for the above is Friday the 12th of August and there is no age limit and no entry fee. It is part of the Waterford Writers Weekend during the Imagine Arts Festival. The first prize is €400 plus attendance at a designated writing course at the Molly Keane Writers Retreat, Ardmore in 2023 and the second prize is €300 plus a writing course in Ardmore. The third prize is €200. The judge for the competition is the writer and poet Colm Keegan and the competition is open to all writers living on the island of Ireland. The prize emerged from the influence of the late Waterford writer Sean Dunne.
