One of the great dance scenes of the cinema, Richard Harris was nominated for both the Oscars and the Golden Globes for his performance in this film. And a few more as well. The original play was written by John B. Keane and when drama groups were popular in every village and town this was one of the favourites. Directed for the cinema by Neil Jordan. Enjoy!
