Made it into Navan Library last night for the poetry readings having managed to negotiate my way around the different roadworks and arrive only fifteen minutes late and take a few photographs as well! This though is a video of Tom French reading a poem by MacDara Woods and give a listen. One of the features of these events is that you get to hear a lot of poets or poems you wouldn't otherwise come across and last night there was a few. Willie G. Hodgins read one about travelling on trains and a toilet and a light coming on and it never happened in The Tower of Song! Myself I stuck to Philip Larkin and Felix Dennis. Paying safe I know! Some of the photos to be loaded next time.
