Bloomsday - James Joyce!

Bloomsday ~ James Joyce!

Something for the Sunday morning that's in it and if you happen to be in Dublin all the better, but if you're in some distant part of the world and have never been or remember it there's a nice walk through Trinity or used to be, also of course there's that walk through Leopold Bloom's excursions, a place or places I've never been and probably never will. Stately pluck indeed and no mention of the revolver this morning but enjoy the day! Loaded by 'visitdublin' and with thanks.

Bloomsday's Coming...

Bloomsday's is here...

Loaded by The James Joyce Centre, Dublin to celebrate 100 years of Ulysses and with thanks. I wonder what the man himself would think were he to wander round Dublin today. I think it was Benedict Kiely who said an Irish writer's no good unless he's been banned or something along the lines of such. But then Joyce was never banned here, at least not officially. Banned everywhere else .... With regard to most of our writers who have, the mainstream media likes to keep them at a safe distance in case they'd interrupt the soap operas. Anyway enjoy the day.

Bloomsday - James Joyce's First Date

With thanks to Jonathan Brielle who loaded. Hitting the share button on youtube! Finn's Hotel is in Dublin (Video Editor!) and Nassau Street which I often walked down. I think Nora said something about swinging a cat! Well done on the video. Something for Bloomsday.
