Guy Clark - Desperados Waiting For A Train

Guy Clark ~ Desperados Waiting For A Train!

Guy Clark: November 6th 1941 to May 17th 2016.

Straight out of Texas and one of my favourite American singer/songwriters. Loaded by Lapislazuli42 and with thanks. An anniversary just passed. I see from another version on Youtube the comment about the difference between an analogy and a metaphor. Wouldn't have spotted! Great song.

Guy Clark - Desperados Waiting For A Train

I've always maintained that it's as hard to write a good ballad as it is to write a good anything and the passing of Guy Clark yesterday leaves America without one of its great singer songwriters. A visitor to Ireland many times, he was said to be hard to interview but difficult to know which of his songs to pick. The fifth outlaw, I'll leave it at that! Nov 6, 1941 - May 17, 2016. R.I.P. With thanks to the guy who loaded and to youtube.
