An Tobar Group/ Poetry Reading!

Good morning and Greetings Poetry People

Hope June is treating you well.
Some may remember we had a very pleasant afternoon last year in James McConnell and Olivia Barne's  gardens
They are kindly extending an invitation again this year
Sunday 3rd July at 3pm. * Note time change!
Their address is Churchtown, Navan Co Meath Eircode is C15 XF84  (Tel 085 7829966 James)
Suggested Theme: Gardens and nature in general. Our friend Francis Ledwidge could be a source!!
Of course as we often say any poem that is special for you is special for the group.
By the way two events in the coming week
  • 13th June marks the birthday of WB Yeats, 157 years ago!. 13th June is now Yeats Day, especially in his beloved adopted Sligo.
  • 16th June is now the famous Blooms Day.
  • And the important date for our diaries is Sunday 3rd July in the gardens of James and Olivia.
Hope you can join us and feel welcome to invite along anyone who may be interested in the poetry session.
Best wishes and happy poetic reading
Jim Owens
