25th Francis Ledwidge Poetry Award 2023!
Silver Anniversary Competition.
This competition has a closing date of Sunday the 5th of November, so closing fast. The first prize is the Ledwidge plaque (a keepsake) inscribed with the winner's name plus a cash prize. There are books for Second and Third places and merit certificates for the finalists,
In addition the winner will be invited to read at the annual Francis Ledwidge Commemoration at the National War Memorial Gardens in July 2024.
The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into following the results; entries implies compliance with the rules. Poems must be the competitor's own work and not previously broadcast or published and must not exceed 40 lines of type. Name and address and telephone to be supplied on a separate sheet. Max is 6 poems with an entry fee of €5 per poem; 4 for €15 payable to the Inchicore Ledwidge Society.
