Produced by The Columban Fathers the above video recalls the events of sixty years ago when JFK visited Ireland. His remark that ," Other days may not be so bright as we look towards the future" would be all too prophetic and most people still alive from then will remember where they were when they heard the news of his assassination. America never really recovered from his death or indeed that of his brother Bobby, or the great leaders of the black civil rights movement. Reading lately that RFK Jnr has thrown his hat in the ring for the Presidency. Now wouldn't that be embarrassing for the media here and not just RTE. Posted by CR's Video Vaults and with thanks.
