Scurlogstown Olympiad and Haymaking Festival 2022!

Made it in to the Olympiad on Sunday where a large crowd turned out for what was the first Festival after the Covid restrictions. Great to see the event up and running again and such a large crowd out on a very pleasant afternoon. But getting parking was sure difficult. Ray and Eddie put on a great show but there were many other events going on all over the field and the children were having a great time at the amusement arcade end. Also entry was free for the junior set so where better to bring them on a day out. There were traditional music sessions as well and stalls representing rural traditions and pastimes with book sales and other items and not forgetting the heritage and haymaking events.
