Here's an interesting one with a deadline of 20th November 2015. The Universal Human Rights Student Network (UHRSN) is organizing its very first human rights poetry contest and this year's theme is "Refugees and their message to Europe". The above info is on the Poetry Ireland website and you need to enter through the poetry submission form on the website: www.uhrsn.org
The poems must be in English and cannot be longer than 200 words. While everyone is permitted to participate, students, migrants and refugees are especially encouraged to enter this competition. The first prize is - €300 and a certificate, second prize is - €200 and a certificate and third prize is - €100 and a certificate. There is no entry fee but check out details from websites.
