Strokestown are now accepting entries for the 2015 awards and the closing date is the 27th of February, so still plenty of time to get your entries in. A number of categories in the awards and some great prizes if you should be so lucky which to date is not myself. Rules and regulations and categories if you go to the link below and you can enter both online and by post with a fee of €5 or €6 per poem depending on which you chose. Same for Sterling and Dollars. Poems not more than 70 lines, which is getting to story length. The Strokestown Poetry Awards shortlists will be announced in mid-March, and the prizes will be awarded during the Strokestown International Poetry Festival, County Roscommon which will take place over the weekend of 1-3 May, 2015. It is a condition of entry that short-listed competitors are prepared to attend the festival. Check out details below!
