The Dromineer Literary Festival is inviting entries for its poetry and short story competitions and has a closing date of the 17th of August which is fast approaching. The prize money for this is considerable so it is definitely worth entering and a number of local writers have picked up an award or two.Details and conditions of entry can be had on www.dromineerliteraryfestival.ie/competitions and entries to be sent to Deborah Powel, Secretary, Dromineer Literary Festival, Ballycommon, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. €5 euro for the first poem entered and €3 euro for each poem after that. The short story fee is €10. But check out the details on site and good luck!
